The second reflective journal will focus on self-management, one of the EI domains. Please be sure to complete all readings and surveys prior to answering guided questions. Responses should be substantive and not just a few sentences. This is about students having a better understanding of what makes an effective communicator. As this is a reflective journal, you are not required to provide references, but if you do use any citations, you will need to provide a reference list.

A typical meal for me consists of lean proteins, whole grains, and lots of vegetables. I also ensure that I drink lots of water and avoid processed or high sugar foods. In terms of exercise, I make it a point to do at least 30 minutes of physical activity every day, whether it’s running, swimming, or yoga. For those who are not exercising regularly, it is important to start by identifying their current fitness level and then devising a plan to gradually increase activity levels.
