You will be asked to write 2 topical essays throughout the class (formal essay style, New Roman Times size 12 font, double spaced, default margins, APA Style). This is not an opinion paper or position paper. The idea here is to be objective. The topical essays should be 5 – 7 pages in length (of content, excluding the cover page, any abstract, and references) and demonstrate a command of the topic and the assigned, applicable reading for the relevant week. Please avoid using unsubstantiated opinion in your work; you should support your statements. Please use an intentional paragraph structure and headings/subheadings where appropriate in your work.
