1.Read Psalm 46:1. When you face a personal or professional crisis, how might this verse speak to you? Why is this concept hard to believe or put into practice?(200Words) 2.Provide an overview of your Final Project(The final project is question 3/4). Describe your product or service and give a summary of your approach to communication. What is your biggest communication challenge to success? What are the possible risks of it not being effective? What questions do you have about your project with which your fellow students might be able to help? Directly respond to at least two fellow student’s questions with substantive commentary.(200Words) 3.(Ensure to incorporate principles throughout the entire paper from the books given). The course culminates in completing a leadership communication action plan for an organization of their choice to provide a practical application to communication theory. Use the principles learned in this course and the textbooks to evaluate how you would use strategy and the various communication tools for a company of your choice to address a challenging situation or capitalize on a specific opportunity. Examples: • Launch a marketing campaign for a specific product or service. You may choose an existing product or service or one that you would like to create. • If you are interested in starting a business, develop a communication plan for the launch of your organization. • Persuade your leadership team to invest in a new project or service. • Address a significant conflict or problem and provide a resolution. • Design a communication plan to announce a new vision in your industry (perhaps, similar to how Apple announces brand new products). Your audience for the presentation is primarily your choice. It could be the leader (s) of the organization who would decide whether to buy into your vision such as the Board of Directors, a partner, or your manager. Alternatively, it could be an audience of employees, loyal customers, or a broader audience of customers not yet realized. Part 1 (due in week 5): In a 2 page paper, provide a brief summary and rationale for your choice. Identify the specific components of your strategy. Then, describe what you have learned about how to effectively communicate as a leader and how this has influenced your presentation in part 4.(Ensure to incorporate principles throughout the entire paper from the books given. Communication goals Target audience Market/industry/customer analysis Expected strategic advantages of the idea, product or service Metrics: How you will evaluate success If using PowerPoint or Prezi: Be sure to use the PowerPoint slides to create a visually appealing presentation and the speaker’s notes (with at least 100 words on the notes section for each slide) to describe what you would say to your audience.
