Each student is to develop a theoretical framework proposal for the DNP project topic and present it in a paper not to exceed 6-8 pages and in a formal presentation. A theoretical framework is the viewpoint from which you are approaching your topic and serves to organize related theories, principles, generalizations, and research findings.
It is within this framework that your DNP project will eventually evolve. The components of the theoretical framework are found on the rubric.
The written proposal must adhere to APA guidelines. References from scholarly journals will be used, but a formal review of the literature is not required for this phase of project development. This paper and the PowerPoint file for the presentation will be uploaded under the assignment in Canvas©.
