Choose ONE (1) of the following three questions to answer as a discussion board post
Question #1: The authors suggest that the Cold War had a major impact on European politics. Briefly discuss how they viewed the impact of the Cold War and discuss whether or not (and why) it continues to be relevant to European politics today.
Question #2: The authors mention 3 major types of executive office that may be present in European governments. What are they and how do they function? When thinking of these types, do you think that the United States might benefit from having a different role for the executive? How so?
Question #3: In the United States, the President has most of the say in who will be in their cabinet. In Europe, this is often not the case. Outline how governments are formed in Europe. Do you find this system reasonable? Why or why not?
